BAMF’s Movie Poster Hall of Fame – THE SOUL OF NIGGER CHARLEY

With the release of Quentin Tarantino’s Django Unchained less than six months away, it seemed like it was time for the Movie Poster Hall of Fame to include a black western. So, with that in mind, I give you The Soul of Nigger Charley, starring Fred Williamson. The sequel to the legendary The Legend of Nigger Charley, The Soul of Nigger Charley is a terrible film that is far worse that its predecessor—and that’s saying a lot. But the poster is great. I also love the poster for Legend of Nigger Charley (below), but it isn’t an illustration/painting so much as a stylized photograph, which keeps it from officially making it into the Movie Poster Hall of Fame (but I can still post if, because this is my website).
