BAMF’s Movie Poster Hall of Fame – THE GOLDEN VOYAGE OF SINBAD

Yeah, I know all I’ve been doing lately is posting stuff in the Movie Poster Hall of Fame, and nothing else. Oh well, at least I’m posting something. Those of you that have been complaining need to be thankful for that much and deal with it. That said…today’s entry is an all-time favorite, The Golden Voyage of Sinbad. Hands down, this is the best of the Sinbad movies featuring effects by Ray Harryhausen, and the poster is supremely badass. Of course, once again we have definitive proof that British posters are much cooler than their American counterparts. Directly above is the British version, which any fool can see is better than the American poster (below). And just for a bit weirdness, I’m including a third promotional poster, which seems to be designed to cash in on the zodiac craze of the early 1970s. I’m not sure who thought this third poster was a good idea, especially since the zodiac isn’t really part of Golden Voyage of Sinbad.
